't Spaanse Schaep
A small time jump - we're in mid-seventies now. Doortje is celebrating her birthday in her flat above the launderette. Nearly all our regulars are there, Granny Witlof, Riek and Arie, Huip, Greet and Lena, but the atmosphere is far from festive. Kootje's camping The Free Sheep has been ordered to shut down, because the land has been "given back to nature". Lena is pregnant is determined to be the first bachelor mother (B.O.M. in Dutch). Doortje is unhappy, because the affair with Koosje has as yet not been consolidated. Granny is poorly and a shadow of her old self. Quite the opposite Greet and Huipie's twins are young, healthy and your worst cases of ADHD. Greet and Huipie are at the end of their tethers. Riek and Arie have come into a smart inheritance, but don't want their friends to know. But worst of all. Lukas isn't present. Two years ago he has followed the love in his life Sjon to Spain, where they started running a guest house called The Spanish Sheep. Everybody is worried. Lukas hasn't called, not even a birthday card and he's the last to forget Door's birthday. And indeed Lukas is in dead trouble. Sjon has left and business in the guest house is extremely low. Luckily there are still his friends in Amsterdam. They decide to set off for Spain together, cheer up Lukas and help him back on his feet again. Or are they perhaps just running away from their own problems?
